Miter Band Saws for Angle Cutting

A miter band saw rotates the saw frame so you can cut tube, pipe and profiles at an angle without re-clamping. PCL miter saws swivel 0–45° (BS-300M to BS-400M) or 0–60° (BS-500M and up), and the AM versions add CNC length feeding with hydraulic angle rotation.

  • 7 modelsmanual and CNC
  • 0–60°angle range
  • Ø600 mmmax at 90°
  • Ø500 mmmax at 45°

Prices from USD 2,800 (EXW, standard configuration). See the price of each model; models marked "Ask for price" are quoted on request.

Frequently asked questions

How much capacity do I lose at 45° and 60°?

It depends on the model. For example, the BS-500M cuts Ø500 mm round at 90°, Ø400 mm at 45° and Ø200 mm at 60°. Check the 45° and 60° columns against your largest angled section.

Which models cut up to 60°?

BS-500M, BS-600M, BS-400AM and BS-500AM swivel 0–60°. BS-300M, BS-350M and BS-400M swivel 0–45°, with a 60° option at reduced capacity.

How is the angle set?

On M models the angle is set by hand against a scale. On AM models the saw frame rotates hydraulically and the bar is fed by the CNC shuttle, so angled batches run with little handling.

Can I cut square tube for frames and handrails?

Yes, that is the main use: square and rectangular tube, pipe, channel and angle for frames, gates, handrails and trusses.

Is a miter band saw slower than a straight-cut saw?

Cutting time is similar for the same cross-section. Angled cuts are longer through the material, so allow more time per cut at 45° and 60°.
